The 2005 NPC Mountaineer, under the promotion of Roger Morrison and Morrison Productions, was held at the Farthing Auditorium on the Appalachian State University campus in Boone, NC on September 24. ..... ..... Thirty-five-year-old Marzell Penix of Danville, KY was the unanimous choice of the judges for the lightheavyweight class win and entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and took the majority of first place votes from the judges for the overall title. ..... ..... Jenn Chamberlin, 33, of Clayton, NC took the middleweight class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Jenn entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous victory. ..... ..... Thirty-six-year-old Dario Ferrer of Bradenton took the lightheavyweight class win by taking all first place votes from the judging panel. ..... ..... The 2005 NPC Typhoon Bay Bodybuilding Championships, a drug tested event, was held in conjunction with the Hurricane Bay at the Gaither Auditorium in Tampa on October 1 under the promotion of Tim Gardner and his Body Tech Emporium and Beverly International. ..... ..... Thirty-nine-year-old Steve Williams of Tampa took all first place votes in the heavyweight class for the unanimous class win and then entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners where he once again took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous victory. ..... .....
