The 2005 NPC Florida State Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships were held at the Panama City Civic Center on September 17 under the promotional efforts of Florida West District Chairman Patrick Sporer and his Health World Gym and Max Muscle. ..... ..... Veteran competitor Rick McMillan, 34, of Tallahassee faced tough competition in the heavyweight class and managed to take the class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Rick moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again took all first place votes from the judging panel for the unanimous overall title. ..... ..... Diana Cook, 40, of Northport grabbed all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous lightheavyweight class win. ..... ..... Diana entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and again took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous overall win. ..... ..... The Figure Division had a total of 7 entries in four height classes. ..... ..... Donna Barber, 37, of Panama City took all first place votes from the judges for a two-round total of 10 points to take the Class B win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Donna entered into the final comparisons of the class winners and took a one-point (9 - 10) decision for the overall win.

The 2005 NPC Mountaineer, under the promotion of Roger Morrison and Morrison Productions, was held at the Farthing Auditorium on the Appalachian State University campus in Boone, NC on September 24. ..... ..... Thirty-five-year-old Marzell Penix of Danville, KY was the unanimous choice of the judges for the lightheavyweight class win and entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and took the majority of first place votes from the judges for the overall title. ..... ..... Jenn Chamberlin, 33, of Clayton, NC took the middleweight class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Jenn entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous victory. ..... ..... Jamika Robinson, 21, of Fayetteville, NC was unopposed in the Fitness Division taking her second overall title in her second contest appearance. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into three height classes with a total of 12 athletes competing. ..... ..... Lauren Noah, 21, of Burlington, NC took a two-round total of 14 points for the Class A win. ..... ..... Lauren then moved into the final comparisons of the class winners and was the pick of the judges for the overall title.

Thirty-six-year-old Dario Ferrer of Bradenton took the lightheavyweight class win by taking all first place votes from the judging panel. ..... ..... Dario moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and was the unanimous choice of the judges for the overall win. ..... ..... Tammy Breece, 41, of Tampa took the majority of first place votes from the judging panel for the lightweight class win. ..... ..... There were not any other entries in the weight classes offered and Tammy Breece was declared the overall winner. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into two height classes with a total of 12 athletes competing. ..... ..... Twenty-nine-year-old Olivia Tash of Valrico took a two-round total of 14 points for the tall class win. ..... ..... Olivia moved into the final comparisons of class winners and was the unanimous choice of the judges for the overall title.

The 2005 NPC Typhoon Bay Bodybuilding Championships, a drug tested event, was held in conjunction with the Hurricane Bay at the Gaither Auditorium in Tampa on October 1 under the promotion of Tim Gardner and his Body Tech Emporium and Beverly International. ..... ..... Thirty-nine-year-old Steve Williams of Tampa took all first place votes in the heavyweight class for the unanimous class win and then entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners where he once again took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous victory. ..... ..... Veteran competitor Cheryl Costello, 40, of Palm Harbor took all first place votes from the judges to take the lightweight class win. ..... ..... Cheryl then moved into the final comparisons of class winners and once again took all first place votes from the judging panel for the overall win.

The Kathleen High School Fine Arts Auditorium was the location for the 2005 NPC Lakeland Classic Bodybuilding and Figure Championships on September 24 under the promotion of Deb and Jack Callahan and Deb’s Gym. ..... ..... Veteran competitor Sam Mendolera, 45, of Tampa dominated the middleweight class by taking all first place votes from the judges for the class win. ..... ..... Sam entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again collected all first place votes for the unanimous overall title. ..... ..... Twenty-seven-year-old first time competitor Alivia Nill of Winter Haven took the majority of first place votes in the lightweight class to take the class win. ..... ..... Alivia went into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and was the unanimous choice of the judging panel for the overall win. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into three height classes with a total of 15 athletes competing. ..... ..... First time competitor Amanda Rogers, 29, of Lakeland took a two-round total of 18 points to take the short class win. ..... ..... Amanda moved into the final comparisons of the class winners and took all first place votes from the judges for the overall win.
