The last national qualifier in Florida for 2005, the NPC All South, was held at the Pedro Menendez High School Auditorium in St. Augustine on November 5 under the promotional efforts of Gene Schlossberg and the World Gym of St. Augustine and Southern Muscle Plus. ..... ..... Veteran competitor Tab Hunter, 42, of Safety Harbor, FL dominated the heavyweight class by taking the class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Tab entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again took all first place votes from the judges for the overall title. ..... ..... Twenty-six-year-old Tammy Jones of Cape Coral, FL was unopposed in the heavyweight class. ..... ..... Tammy went into the final comparisons and pose down and captured the overall win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into two height classes with a total of 12 entries. ..... ..... First time competitor Frederica Brant, 38, of Boynton Beach, FL took a two-round total of 10 points for the unanimous short class win. ..... ..... Frederica entered into the final comparisons and once again captured all first place votes from the judging panel for the overall win.

The 2005 NPC Florida Gold Cup and Zena Collins Fitness and Figure Championships were held at the William T. Dwyer High School Auditorium in Palm Beach Gardens under the promotion of Frank Dalto and his Mother Nature's Pantry on November 12. ..... ..... The Florida Gold Cup is a drug-tested event. ..... ..... Wayne Salas took the lightweight class win and went into the final comparisons and pose down to take the overall title. ..... ..... Stephanie Faircloth was the winner of the women's heavyweight class and due to no other weight division entrants was declared the overall winner. ..... ..... Michelle Cilli was unopposed in the Fitness Division. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into four height classes and it was Paola Almerico taking the Class C win and after the final comparisons was the pick of the judges for the overall win.

The 26th edition of the NPC Gainesville Championships were held at the Lincoln Auditorium on November 12 under the promotional efforts of John Babb, Clovis Watson and the Gainesville Gym. ..... ..... Joel Thomas, 21, of Lake City was making his second contest appearance and took the middleweight class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Joel moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again took all first place votes from the judging panel for the unanimous victory. ..... ..... First time competitor Jill Greaves, 44, of Alachua captured the lightweight class win by taking all first place votes from the judging panel. ..... ..... Jill entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners once again took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous overall win. ..... ..... The Figure Division had four athletes competing and it was first time competitor Toni Willis, 25, of Palatka taking a two round total of 10 points for the unanimous win.
