2006 NPC All South Championships

The Pedro Mendendez High School Auditorium in St. Augustine, FL was the location for the last national qualifier for 2006 in Florida. The 2006 NPC All South Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships was held on November 4 under the promotional efforts of Gene Schlossberg and the World Gym on St. Augustine and Southern Muscle Plus magazine.

Twenty-four-year-old Jason Croce, the 2002 NPC National Teen Champion, of Ft. Myers, FL dominated the middleweight class by taking all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous class win.

Jason the entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and took the majority of the first place votes from the judges for the overall win.

Casey Daugherty, 24, of Lake City, FL took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous middleweight class win.

Casey then moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again managed to take all first place votes for the unanimous overall title.

Sammi Barton, 25, of Riverview, FL, making her first contest appearance, was unopposed in the Fitness Division.

The Figure Division was divided into two height classes with a total of 13 entries.

Danielle Dunham, 25, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL dominated the tall class by taking all first place votes in both rounds of the competition for a total of 10 points for the unanimous tall class win.

Danielle then entered into the final comparisons of the class winners and edged out a one-point (7 - 8) decision for the overall win.
