2006 NPC Florida Gold Cup
The 2006 NPC Florida Gold Cup, the state's drug tested championships, were held on November 18 under the promotional efforts of Frank Dalto at the William Dwyer Auditorium in Palm Beach Gardens.
John Lopez took the heavyweight class win by a unanimous decision and then moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again captured all first place votes for the unanimous win.
Marissa Soubliere was unopposed in the heavyweight class and after the comparisons and pose down of the class winners was the unanimous pick of the judges for the overall win.
Trina Goosby took the short class win and after the comparisons of the class winners was the choice of the judges for the overall figure title.
