Don and Betty Hollis presented the 24th annual NPC Southern Classic on June 2 at the Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, MS that featured 114 competitors from nine different states.

Timmy Gaillard, 39, of Ripley, MS edged out some tough competition in the heavyweight class and then moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and emerged as the overall champion.

Veteran competitor Angela Rayburn, 33, of Columbia, MS captured the heavyweight class win.

Angela then moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and was the pick of the judges for the overall title.

The Fitness Division had three athletes competing and it was fifteen-year-old Victoria Larvie of Riverdale, GA coming out on top for the division title.

The Figure Division was divided into four height classes with a total of 27 athletes entered.

Kristy Fenter, 24, of Cordova, TN took the Class A win and then moved into the final comparisons of the class winners and was the pick of the judging panel for the overall division title.
